Model Development

The Travel Forecasting Resource is organized around four major categories related to travel forecasting.  The Model Development section deals with the process of building travel forecasting models.  This includes the initial mathematical formulation of models to best meet the needs of the problem at hand, along with the estimation, calibration and validation of the various modeling components.  Traditional and advanced models are included here, along with case studies and experience from those already involved.
